Over the past decade, I’ve transitioned my career toward design, blending my experience in business strategy with a deep passion for human-centered design. In 2019, I earned my MFA in Design from California College of the Arts, and during grad school, I worked as an industrial designer at Ink Studios and Deap Design, developing products for companies like Moen, Kohler, and Turtle Beach. I also gained UX design experience at IBM, contributing to Watson Studio and Data Science development.
Currently, as a Lead Design Strategist and Researcher at IBM, I advise enterprise clients on strategic transitions, using human-centered design and lean research methods to drive impactful solutions. I’ve led multi-million-dollar deals and facilitated workshops that have led to increased ROI and enhanced user experiences. At Jump Associates, I guided Fortune 50 clients through product strategy and user experience design, creating actionable insights that shaped organizational direction and product development.
Prior to my design career, I spent nearly a decade in entrepreneurship, marketing, and public relations, honing my analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making. While those experiences shaped my strategic approach, design has allowed me to more directly apply creativity, empathy, and user insights to solving real-world problems. I’m passionate about how design is transforming businesses and excited to be at the forefront of this change.
Outside of work, I love art, solo backpacking, and other outdoor activities. I find that these hobbies often inspire my design work, reminding me of the importance of curiosity and exploration in both my personal and professional life.
